Cozy spot in the heart of the city
The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was tasty 😊 The room was clean and the heating worked like a charm. Just a bummer that the air con broke down due to a flood next door. Otherwise, solid experience!

Everything was really good, MAGNIFICENT location very close to underground, the train station and city center, bus stop, courteous staff. I had compact room with a pull out sofa, the photos online, for instance. A shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets were a plus. Enjoyed the location in the center of London.

The room is compact in the photos online. The location is unbeatable, 2 km from a public sculpture.

Cozy feel with great coffee options.
Old windows made the room a bit noisy from the street.

The very welcoming staff, the comfort of the beds, the bathtub, the breakfast, the free luggage storage.
the sound of slamming doors, the noise of other customers.

Good placement: near Hyde Park, nice neighbourhood, close to two tube statioins. The interior thought not new, still good. The room was rather small, but had everything that was needed. The bed was good, wide and comfy. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't say about it.
The bathroom was really tiny and though it could be ok I seriously got burnt my hand when accidently touched the toweldryer, and there was no notice saying it is extremely hot.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a festival in Hyde Park over the weekend. Very close to Hyde Park and close to tube for getting into the centre of London which was only a couple of stops away. Lovely clean room, quite large for London. Had everything you needed including nice clean bathroom with good shower. Overall a lovely little hotel for a London sight seeing/shopping trip, would stay again.
The man behind the reception on arrival was less then friendly but the lady the next morning was very helpful so just pot luck who you deal with really! Not enough to put me off staying again though.

The only positive things I can say about this hotel are that it is convenient to two tube stations (Queensway and Bayswater) and it is near a lot of restaurants and shops.
There were a number of things I didnt like about the Byron Hotel: - dirty sheets (sheets were stained and when asked to change them, the replacements were as well) - dirty towels that were on the bathroom floor to be replaced were simply folded about put back as if they were fresh - bugs in room - additional cost for internet access unreasonably high (5 pounds for 3 hours or 10 pounds for 24 hours) - additional cost for local telephone calls - no refrigerator in room - garbage not taken down when room cleaned (had to take garbage down on our own in the morning) if any one of these things had happened independently, it could have been a coincidence, but taken together, the only logical conclusion is that this hotel is a very poor value for the money they expect visitors to pay.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were friendly. The hotel is well situated for public transport with tube and bus links just around the corner and a very friendly little Italian cafe that was very cheap (for London) with good food & coffee. we found it very good value & we can't understand the negative views given on the website for the price we paid it was excellent, if you wanted more then you should expect to pay more elsewhere!
Breakfast was a bit expensive (although very well cooked)and was not included inthe cost of staying. Also we would have preferred our left luggage to have been stored in a locked room rather than a corrider.

Very close to Hyde Park with 2 Underground Stations within 2 blocks- Euston station about a 10-15 minutes easy walk. Many restaurants within 2 blocks.Small room, but normal for Europe. Street was quiet and so was the hotel. For the most part, the room was clean though it looked like carpet didn't get vaccumed very well, bed was comfortable. provded a map of London which was very helpful. In room safe, TV, closet, desk and hair dryer.
Staff was definately not rude, but not overly friendly. Did not like the fact that we had to leave our room key at the front desk each time we left.

The Byron was the perfect place for my friend and I to spend a few days in London. The location was perfect- half a block from Hyde Park and near two tube stations (2-3 blocks). Busy Queensway St is 2 short blocks away and it has quite a few ethnic restaurants to choose from and even a Starbucks to remind me of home. The hotel is located on a relatively quiet street though and the flowers surrounding the entrance were delightful. The Byron is a fair value for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. I researched a lot of hotels and was pleased with my choice.
Elevator could use some updating, but it worked just fine. Room was smaller, but not as small as I thought it would be. A cozy room for a cozy hotel.
